Author's Article Update
It is now possible for authors to keep their article up to date. Whilst there is
a facility for loading your own updates, readers and users can make suggestions
of their own for updates. These suggestions are not posted to the website until
the author approves them, for which there is an easy to use mechanism. Users
are automatically emailed with a decision on their suggestion.

How to Review a Suggested Update by Another Reader
|
-
login from this page.
- Select "Review submitted updates" from the menu bar on
the left.
- Select the update you wish to review from the list presented.
-
You now have the choice of 3 options:
Delete - removes the updates and takes no action;
Accept - accepts the update and emails the suggestor to say that it is
accepted);
Reject - rejects the manuscript; there is also space for you to write a
short message as to why it is rejected. This is then sent to the suggestor.
If you want to edit a suggested update that you intend to accept, do so in the
fields displayed. The content of these fields are used to create the update on
the website. On accepting the update, we will format the text and add the
update to the update list.
