Suggest an Update to a Published Foundations and Trends® Article

Our user-friendly updating mechanism enables you to suggest an update to of the reviews published in a Foundations and Trends® journal. This gains you recognition for the update, and possibly your own work, while helping to keep the review up to date for other users. All suggestions are reviewed by the author who decides whether or not to accept the suggestion. You will be informed of the final decision by email and if your suggestion is accepted it will appear in the updates section with a link from the relevant section in the original article. All readers can suggest an update, but only users at subscribing institutions get access to the published updates.

How to Suggest an Update

To suggest an update:

  1. Follow the “Suggest an Update” link in the left menu bar on all the HTML pages of the article.
  2. You will be prompted for your name, affiliation and email address.
  3. Select the type of update you want to suggest.
  4. Enter the update into the appropriate fields.
  5. There's also a space to add some supportive text as to why the update is important and relevant.
  6. Click on the submit button.

On submitting the update, the author will be informed and once the review is complete you will receive an email informing you of the decision
